Anant Mehra is a New York & Los Angeles-based narrative and commercial writer-director whose films explore identity and existential dilemmas, ranging from deteriorating anxieties to fantastical crises. His short films have been selected at various festivals across the world, including the Columbus International Film and Animation Festival, while his commercials have been shortlisted at the Berlin Fashion Film Festival.

Born and raised in New Delhi, Anant's professional work is heavily influenced by his fascinations with fate, magical realism, and Eastern spirituality. In addition to an undergraduate degree in Business and Management, he earned his M.F.A. in Film and Television Production at the University of Southern California.
